Owner Spotlight
Joanna and Mike Cavalcante
Hi, we're Joanna and Mike Cavalcante - and we are so excited to own DapperTails here in Southwestern Michigan! We are a PROUD family-owned business. Between the two of us, we bring years of experience running small businesses built on one thing: people first. Joanna comes from the fitness and wellness world, where she's spent over a decade building communities, training coaches, and showing up for people in a real, meaningful way. Mike has spent years in service-based businesses and knows firsthand what it means to show up, do the work right, and leave people better than you found them. When we came across DapperTails, it felt like the perfect intersection of everything we value - a family owned business, a trusted brand, a service that genuinely matters to families, and a business we could build together. We chose mobile grooming because we believe pets deserve a calm, low-stress experience — and so do their people. No waiting rooms, no chaos, just focused, professional care that comes to you. That's the kind of business we're proud to run. We're parents to two amazing kids who keep us on our toes and remind us every day why community matters. We're the family that shows up, stays involved, and genuinely cares about the people around us (#BeAGoodHuman) and we're bringing that same energy to every appointment. We can't wait to meet your furry family members and earn your trust. Around here, your pets are in the BEST hands. 🐾
